VorTemp™ 56/1550 shaking incubators from Corning BV feature interchangeable platforms for versatile sample processing. The VorTemp™ 56 accommodates 56 x 1.5ml or small tubes with adapters, or standard and deepwell microplates up to 2.0ml. It offers a temperature range of 5 to 100°C with ±1°C accuracy, a speed range of 200 to 1300 min^-1, and a circular orbit of 3mm. The unit can operate as a static incubator with the shaker function turned off. The VorTemp™ 1550 includes platforms for 8 x 50ml and 18 x 15ml tubes, with similar temperature and motion specifications. Features include broad temperature and speed ranges, intelligent digital LED display control, and a timer from 1 to 999 minutes or continuous operation. Compact design with dimensions suitable for laboratory workflows, making this shaker ideal for cell culture, microbial, and molecular biology applications.
