The HABITAT ferment dw 10 doppelwandig is a 10-liter glass fermenter vessel designed for bioprocessing applications. Made from borosilicate glass with a stainless steel 1.4404 lid, it features double-wall insulation for precise temperature control via external cooling jackets. Equipped with comprehensive sensors, including temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen (DO), foam, and fill level sensors, it ensures accurate monitoring during fermentation. The vessel has multiple ports, including inoculation, sampling, and air supply, all made from high-grade materials like AISI 316L and PEEK. Its design supports autoclaving for sterilization, enabling multiple uses. The optional cooling systems include a vertical cooler or a condenser with Peltier or water cooling, maintaining optimal conditions. The mixing is achieved with a 6-blade, 68 mm diameter propeller, and the motor speed ranges from 1 to 800 rpm. It also features a sterilizing PTFE filter (0.22 μm) for gas filtration. Overall, the vessel is suitable for fermentation, cell culture, and bioprocess research requiring high precision and sterile conditions.
