The IKA KMO 3 basic is an award-winning compact magnetic stirrer designed for small-scale laboratory mixing. It features a glass surface for chemical resistance, a bright white LED display for precise control, and an illuminated, flat work surface for visibility. The device includes a locking button, reversible rotation direction, and an integrated USB interface compatible with labworldsoft software and firmware updates. Suitable for stirring up to 5 liters of water per stir point with a maximum load of 10 kg, it runs at speeds from 10 to 1500 rpm with 10 rpm adjustment accuracy. The device has IP42 protection, an overheating protection feature (+2K temperature rise during continuous operation), and a durable construction with glass work surface dimensions of 140 x 120 mm. It operates on 100-240 V, includes a USB-B port, and weighs 1.471 kg. Designed for laboratory environments requiring reliable, vibration-free stirring without heating functionality.
