IKA MS 3 basic is a compact, universal shaker designed for small-scale mixing tasks, especially with small containers and microtiter plates. It features a variety of attachments with automatic attachment detection, enabling seamless switch between continuous and touch modes. The device offers two operation modes: Mode A (safety mode with attachment detection, max 3000 rpm with standard attachment in touch mode) and Mode B (no detection, up to 3000 rpm with all attachments depending on application). Its sturdy zinc die-cast housing ensures durability and stability. It has an adjustable speed from 200 to 3000 rpm, circular motion with a 4.5 mm oscillation, and a maximum load capacity of 0.5 kg including attachments. Suitable for continuous operation at 100% duty cycle, with an operating temperature range of 5-40°C and relative humidity up to 80%. The device weighs 2.9 kg, measures 148x63x205 mm, and operates on voltages between 100 - 240 V. Ideal for laboratory shaking tasks requiring reliability, precision, and versatility for small vessels and microtiter plates.
