UTTD control Tissue Solution by IKA features sterile, single-use 20mL sample tubes with a functional unit of 5mm steel balls, optimized for tissue disintegration in microbiological and molecular diagnostics. These tubes include a membrane lid, are compliant with IVD regulations (European guideline 98/79/EC), and are manufactured according to ISO 13485:2016 quality standards. Suitable for dry milling, cell disintegration, and wet comminution, each package contains 50 sterile tubes filled with 5mL NaCl solution. The design ensures hermetic transport, reduces cross-contamination risks, and simplifies sample processing. Compatible with ULTRA-TURRAX® Tube Drive, enabling automated, reproducible homogenization with process parameter control (time, rpm, reverse rotation). The tubes serve as transport, storing, and crushing units with minimal handling, assisting high-throughput laboratory workflows. Optimized for in vitro diagnostic applications, the tubes support microbial detection and molecular analysis, improving reliability and reducing false diagnoses.
