Thermo Scientific Matrix barcoded latch rack designed for secure storage of 1.0 ml screwtop tubes. Features include a hinged lid, 2D barcode, linear barcode, and human-readable ID on three sides for precise sample tracking. Compatible with Thermo Scientific 2D barcoded tubes, barcode readers, arrayers, and capping systems. Made in ANSI format, allowing use with manual multi-channel pipettes or automated liquid handling systems. The hinged lid remains in open position during manual pipetting, preventing contamination. The latch rack's robot-friendly design facilitates high-throughput automated applications with robotic lid lifting. Dimensions approximately 329 mm x 155 mm x 92 mm. The rack is ideal for low-temperature storage, including vapor phase liquid nitrogen, in laboratory, research, and biobanking environments. Lightweight at 0.7 kg, sold in units of 5.
