Thermo Scientific Matrix storage tubes are designed for reliable sample storage in 96-well format. Made from medical-grade PP, each tube features a permanent, high-contrast 2D barcode at the bottom for traceability and data integrity. Compatible with Thermo Scientific VisionMate readers, these tubes can be integrated into various data management systems. The rack-style, stackable clappack lids reduce contamination risks and save space in freezers and lab benches. Suitable for manual pipetting with multi-channel pipettes and automated high-throughput systems, the rack lids can be opened by robotic arms. Each tube undergoes leak testing to ensure sample integrity. The tubes are sterile, screw-cap closure, with a nominal capacity of 1.0 ml, and come in packages of 5 racks, each containing 96 tubes, totaling 480 units. They provide an optimal solution for sample preservation, traceability, and workflow efficiency in molecular biology, biobanking, and diagnostic labs.
