SCAT Safety Waste Cap, B83, is designed for secure disposal of solvents and HPLC waste in laboratory environments. Equipped with four PFA-Fitting 2.3 mm OD, four PFA-Fitting 3.2 mm OD, and a PFA tube connector 5.0 - 11.5 mm ID, it ensures a hermetic seal. The cap fits round canisters with B83 / 83B thread, such as NALGENE containers. The integrated GL14 connection allows attachment of an exhaust filter containing activated carbon in three layers, which effectively adsorbs vapours from solvents, acids, and alkalis. This system provides reliable pressure equalisation, occupational safety, and vapour containment, making it ideal for laboratory waste management of hazardous chemicals.
