SCAT Safety Waste Cap S50 offers secure, hermetic sealing for solvent and HPLC waste disposal in laboratory canisters. Equipped with two PFA fittings of 2.3 mm and 3.2 mm OD for secure tube connections, and a polypropylene olive for flexible tubing (5.0 - 11.5mm ID). The cap features a GL14 thread for mounting an exhaust filter, which contains three layers of activated carbon, effectively adsorbing vapours from acids, alkalis, and organic solvents. This setup provides pressure equalisation, occupational safety, and environmental protection by preventing vapour escape during waste handling. Designed for laboratories requiring secure waste containment and vapour management, compatible with space-efficient canister configurations. Ideal for chemical, pharmaceutical, and analytical labs handling hazardous waste materials.
